The Secret Order of Crawdaddies (a 501(c)(3) organization) is a group of guys that get together, have some fun and put on a party for charity.

Thanks to the sponsors, musicians, volunteers and festival goers we raised $40,000 for Growing Futures.

The 18th Annual Village Crawfish Festival, in association with the Overland Park South Rotary Club will benefit Growing Futures Early Education Center, and be held Saturday, May 04, 2019 (6:00pm-11:00pm) at St Pius X Church, 5500 Woodson (55th and Woodson, 2 blocks west of Nall St) Mission, KS (map). Signs will be prominently displayed indicating area for convenient parking.

Growing Futures Early Education Center

Their mission is to nurture children and strengthen families to enrich our community.

Growing Futures Early Education Center, formerly Head Start of Shawnee Mission, is a not-for-profit organization providing quality early education opportunities and family support services for children in Johnson County, Kansas. Growing Futures opened its doors in 1965 as a Head Start summer enrichment program for 17 preschool-aged children from low-income families. Today they serve over 250 low-income children and their families with Early Head Start and Head Start programs. In addition, they offer opportunities for any family to benefit from their quality early education program with competitive rates and no income eligibility requirements. Visit them online.
